Q: But how will they refer to the Royale with cheese?

VIA THE WIRE: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has ordered government and cultural bodies to use modified Persian words to replace foreign words that have crept into the language, such as "pizzas" which will now be known as "elastic loaves," state media reported Saturday.

Ahmadinejad: Still loves "Y.M.C.A."

The AP failed to note, however, a surprising sidenote to this story, which was then leaked EXCLUSIVELY to The Answer May Surprise You:

In a bizarre irony, the presidential decree was originally sent out bearing the headline "Foreign Idioms Have Jumped the Shark."

After aides brought the oversight to Ahmadinejad's attention, the decree was quickly retracted, scrubbed, and re-released under a new state-approved headline, "Foreign Idioms Have Jewed the Camel."

Asked to comment, the Iranian president shrugged, saying simply, "My bad."

please comment. it makes me look popular.
