Q: Why is Sir Elton John smokin' indo & sippin' on gin 'n juice?
A: Because life ain't nothin' but bitches and money. Or at least, it won't be once he launches his rap career.
Rocket Man: Burning out his fuse up here alone.
Sir Elton John is planning to record a hip-hop album, and hopes to collaborate with stars including Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.As for the recording sessions, they'll begin as soon as, you know, he calls all those people and convinces them to make a hip-hop album.
"I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip-hop beats," the singer, 59, told Rolling Stone, in an interview printed on their website. "It may be a disaster, it could be fantastic, but you don't know until you try," he said.
"I want to work with Pharrell, Timbaland, Snoop, Kanye, Eminem and just see what happens," Sir Elton told Rolling Stone magazine.
He revealed he had not yet spoken to Dr Dre about the project, but was interested in producing a sound "a bit like 'No Diggity' by Blackstreet."On the plus side, he already has three solid pre-existing hip-hop monickers: Lord Choc Ice, Commodore Orpington, or Sir Horace Pussy. Take your pick.
T.A.M.S.Y. SAYS: If Sir Elton wants to make a hip-hop album, well, by God, let the man make a hip-hop album. Call it The Biznatch is Biznack.
If anyone can pull it off, Rocket Man can. His career's been yanked outta the grave more than Makaveli, yo. For real. Nigga's lived his life like a candle in the muthafuckin' wind.
Which is essential, as he'll need to keep a stiff upper lip when Sug Knight is hanging his ass off a balcony.
DISCUSS: If Sir Commodore Orpington's rap career does take off, will it ever kill the thrills he got burning up to the crocodile rock?
The answer may surprise a bitch.
HEY, ENGLAND: What's up with the entirety of the BBC's music coverage being cut-and-pasted from the Rolling Stone web site? Is that what passes for journalism these days? Because in my day, we used to call that "blogging."

Awesome. I think he should definitely consider The Biznitch is Biznack.
